I rescued this BMX in October. I stripped it down and sanded the frame, forks, cranks and bars. This process showed a small dent in the down tube but no cracks that I could see. After that they were etchprimed and then given two coats of metallic brown (frame and forks) or metallic black (bars and cranks), followed by three coats of lacquer. I don’t have a spray booth (or any previous experience) but was really pleased how it all came out. Bike was then reassembled. Ideally I would have liked to have replaced the bottom bracket as it was a bit notchy, but I cleaned it out and regreased it. It feel fine when riding.

I was thinking about using it as a pump track bike, but wonder if that’s asking for trouble at 56…

The front brake isn’t great, would benefit from new pads , or maybe complete replacement with a rear brake instead?

Size is approx 21″ top tube, and it has got quite a long seatpost if you need the extra height.

I’m not a qualified bike mechanic so I would say to any potential purchaser please check all the nuts & bolts to make sure you’re happy with the bike before riding it.

Price is open to reasonable offers.
