Vitus Escarpe CRX (2021) 29/27.5 (XL)
For sale is an XL carbon (front triangle) aluminium (rear) Escarpe frame. 140mm travel, 150mm forks. This is the straight top tube recent updated geo and not the CRC/Wiggle earlier firesale ones.

Gorgeous black with gold sparkle frame.
Frame is in good working order. Half Invisframe protection to the major wear areas. This has scuffed and pulled in places. One paint chip on the seat tube but i’ve given that a few layers of clear lacquer and purely aesthetic. It’s been used so obviously expect the normal wear and tear…for example run to the chain stays.
Fox Float DPS Factory shock working well and good condition.
This was the trail bike of the year winner and it’s great fun to ride. Got me back into riding and I’ve really enjoyed it but fancied a change as something else caught my eye.
Now the slightly unconventional bit:
The front triangle was a warranty replacement for the previous owner. At the time Vitus sent him a 275 front instead of his 290 front due to stock issues. So this is a 275 front and a 290 rear. The front triangles are near identical geo except this 275 version is a 140mm head tube compared to the 290 130mm head tube (so stack/reach very slightly different). Experts may say this will change things slightly but I’ve ridden it as a 290 (29er) and it rocks. Obviously the rear end is the 290 version and 5mm longer chain stays than the 275.
Sooooo…..You could happily run this full 29er, mullet, or full 275….the perfect versatile bike! Anyway…full transparency and all that!
