for sale i have set of 29″ carbon we are one union wheels
they were bought as a full We Are One Union wheelset a few years back for around 1800
they have been absolutely bomb proof wheels/rims
i have recently had the rim rebuilt onto a BRAND NEW i9 Hydra black 32h rear hub with new axle/bearings etc its only 2 rides old since it got rebuilt (professionally with new spokes nipples etc) its like a new hub/shell and internals with all new spokes/nipples
the freehub is 12speed microspline – thats roughly around 11 months old from new too and bearings feel smooth still in there ( there is a little chip on the end of one of the splines where the cassette locks on but its minor and doesnt affect anything just cosmetic )
the rims as i said are about 2 years old – rear was fully checked over when rebuilt and still totally fine no cracks – there are just marks and small gouges from being hit as expected from use – they have been easily the best rims ive ever had and stayed true since day one – they do have numerous marks and scratches as expected from use but purely all cosmetic
the front wheel is the original i9 hydra, bearings are smooth and replaced around september 2024 and still spin nicely – bearings can be bought from anywhere really that sells them but ive always had the official ones from shorelines in the uk (who supply uk stock of i9 products and always have good back up / stock)
they come taped with reserve tape (rear one literally recently done after rebuild)
im after £400 collected from cheshire if possible but can post if need be for around another £25 insured
so to sum up – a set of we are one union carbon rims laced to a brand new (2 ride old) rear hydra i9 hub with new bearings / axle / spokes / nipples – with a 11 month 12 speed microspline free hub – boost 148×12 spacing
front is a i9 hub original with bearings replaced in september 2024 – again boost 110x15mm
both black colour with black spokes
an incredible wheelset the hub alone is almost 400 quid with a new wheel build involved to
customs decals can be bought from slik graphics for about 20 quid or you can just remove the decals i have on for a stealth look
