FOX X2 Factory – was a 2021 spec shock but was rebuilt in 2024 by Silverfish (UK Fox Distributor) with the 2024 revisions that Fox made to the X2 (there were a lot of new parts including the top trunnion assembly, all the seals and new Kashima stanchion).
I have photographed the invoice and included this in the images.
Ridden 5-10 times since the rebuild – I have been running a coil shock mostly and just prefer it to air. I tested the shock last night to make sure it’s all working well and it’s perfect.
Adjustments this shock has:
Air Pressure
You can put tokens in the airspring to increase / decrease progression
Low Speed Compression
High Speed Compression
Low Speed Rebound
High Speed Rebound
2 position open / pedal lever
As air shocks go this is Fox’s top end air shock with all the adjustments / Kashima costing etc.
Eye to eye is 205mm and stroke is 57.5mm. It has come off a carbon Transition Sentinel where I was running it with a Cascade link for 155mm travel.
Stroke is adjustable internally as it was originally a 62.5mm stroke but I had it changed to 57.5mm when it was rebuilt with 2024 parts.
This has a trunnion mount at one end and a standard eyelet at the other end. No bushing included in the eyelet as what you will need is frame specific.
