We were simply blown away by Pete Scullion’s cover artwork of The Sound of Arisaig for Singletrack issue 139. It is breath taking. So we made it available as an A3 art print.
I sat there at my desk in Singletrack Towers, soaking up this picture, and weighing up the effort it takes to capture a shot like this. So, you need two peaks, one to shoot from, one to ride on. You need to know where the sun will be, and if it is out to play… and make sure the classic Scottish weather doesn’t dick your whole shoot up. And then look at how many graduated silhouetted horizons are in the picture.
We don’t normally make covers available as a print. However, this time, it’s a no brainer. Personally you will find one of these on my wall, largely to inspire the hell out of me and make sure I ride a mountain bike on a mountain top at least once a year. I have added The Sound of Arisaig to my must do list.
