Reply to: Annual Festive 500 thread
If the weather is ok, the challenge is family pressure.Posted 10 months ago | Go to post
I’ve signed up anyway to do as much as I can. Doubt if I’ll do the full 500.
Weirdly, if I sat on the sofa eating and drinking all week it’s fine.
Being outside is another matter.
So yeah family pressure at this time makes it hard 🙂
Anyone near the Roseland peninsula in Cornwall doing this and want to meet up?
Fun sidenote: it also smells exactly like sperm!Posted 10 months ago | Go to post
Reply to: EU Referendum – are you in or out?
A lot of hysteria and a lot of hate on this thread!
My take is got to keep a sense of perspective, I reckon despite this mania very little will change when Brexit goes through.

SSD plus a refresh of Windows. That’s what I did and the results were amazing

Reply to: Removing photos from Apple Iphone
I think I figured it out.
I turned off the synch to icloud thing – she doesn’t need photos to be uploaded to the icloud from her phone.
That seems to be clearing off the local copy and freeing up space on the iphone.
The rest could be mopped up using photos on Windows 10 – has an import from iphone and delete after function.Posted 1 year ago | Go to post
TT is pretty nice and best option in my opinion.
I wouldn’t ride a bike from taffs well through Radyr at rush hour, the road is so tight and busy. I see people do it though.
Dog walkers are fine at rush hour times in my experience. It’s a great route to have for commuting.Posted 1 year ago | Go to post
I’m surprised noone has torn a strip off you for leaving your car door open across a parking line, they’ve had a go at you for everything else! All a bit crazy!
Ignore them, you’ll get some sensible answers in amongst the whining 🙂Posted 1 year ago | Go to post

I can’t post pictures, but if I could, I’d be putting up a giant Peruvian centipede.
It’s a centipede, but it’s massive and highly aggressive.
I think it can take down small mammals. That’s quite a feat for an insect.Posted 1 year ago | Go to post
It will be a brave ride if he does do it. The crowd will go at him from day 1.
The easy thing to do would be hide.
He’s a hero, we should be behind him.
He should most definitely ride.Posted 1 year ago | Go to post
Looks a closer pass than the first?
This is an downside of defensive cycling, for some motorists it’s an invitation to push a close pass.Posted 1 year ago | Go to post

Yes, the words and tone have a nasty edge.

Hucker, I’m still running my g3 for sale reason as you, its toughness.
I have the 8gb memory bit not an issue with these extras:
1) sd card formatted as interna
2) Google photos cloud, delete photos automatically through Google photos once backed up
3) an app that cleans the cache
I recharge it every night.Posted 1 year ago | Go to post
Reply to: SETI for phones and for cancer drugs
i ran it at work today and noticed it paused as it detected my old Moto g3 was running hot. That was a nice feature.
I think the USP is the overnight phone use. The boffins on the radio reckoned that phones have moved on a lot in capability to make it worthwhile.
Combine that with the observation that phones are usually on and charging overnight and doing little in that period, and it seems it does have a good reason to exist.Posted 1 year ago | Go to post
