I personally would suggest anything other than Road cleats. Shouldn’t be even thought of if you are going to take the bike on its intended purpose.
If you like the larger platform of the Road Pedal (as opposed to a traditional smaller SPD MTB Pedal) why not try a Shimano Trail SPD jobbie (think PD-M530) instead?

I’ve had one for over a year and its great, but heavy! The frames are lovely though for the money.
The replaced fork (recall) will have 3 black stripes at the bottom of each fork leg.Posted 2 years ago | Go to post

“And a effing keyboard player! You know a band has lost it when out comes a keyboardist doing who knows what? If the song doesn’t have keyboards in it then kindly ‘do one’ until it’s time for your 5 minutes of fame”
You’ve never heard of Jon Lord then? The keyboards added another level. What a performance!Posted 2 years ago | Go to post
Reply to: Vancouver Island suggestions
I had my honeymoon in Vancouver about 17 years ago and we stayed in a BnB for a few days on the island. Did Whale watching but saw bigger all 😥 The chap on the boat said they were getting too smart. Off the island I loved a little town called Ladner. Lovely place with some of the kindest people I’ve ever met in my life. Need to go back, amazing.Posted 2 years ago | Go to post

I bought my daughter the Trott MTB mentioned above in March. Alu frame, Suntour Raidon adjustable air fork (bolt thru), 1×11 GX, good Tektro hydros. It was an absolute bargain of a bike for just over £300!
Suntour are great. Good enough for Tippie.Posted 2 years ago | Go to post
I know its too late now but Join British Cycling membership. I was knocked off my bike a few years back and could not work for over a week. I cannot praise the legal representation I received from them.I just told them honestly what happened. Nearly never bothered with the claim, but after talking over the phone it was the right thing to do. I was told to list damaged items, had to attend medical examinations, always kept up to date regarding my claim and received physio sessions (which helped immensely).
It also covers you for liability if the boots on the other foot.
Hope you recover soon!Posted 2 years ago | Go to post
I’m on a speed awareness course in 2 weeks. I was doing 37 in a 30. The fella was on an unmarked bike, in Jeans, no Hi Viz with a gun.
Miffed, but at the end of the day I can only blame myself.
Interesting to see the price differences for the courses across counties though.Posted 2 years ago | Go to post

Mines going back. Lasted about 2 rides. The lever sticks between the rails when pushed up which is abit shite and the shaft has now seized up. Ralf from Moos seems pleasant enough. Disappointing product as my old Lev has been bombproof for years.Posted 2 years ago | Go to post
