I read somewhere that May was thinking of chucking it in as he’s getting too old to be chucked around the world in knackered cars. It’ll be sad when it happens, but I’m at least confident now that there will be a decent alternative when it does.

If you’ve not watched it already, then check our “james May, our man in Japan” on amazon prime…[Read more]

I think the three of them are a good combination, definitely settling in to their roles. The friendship seems less forced now.

Only two episodes in, so very soon, but so far I’d say its the best season for quite some time. I’d rate it over the grand tour as well.

  • Surely satire? Or just a moron tax?

In fact the only real disappointment I faced was that the router doesn’t look like a postbox.

Changed the back end of last year, used to be vodafone. Same speed, same price, but I got a £60 Amazon voucher for switching.

No complaints really, seems as good we can get at home.

Why am I picturing an AD&D meeting after reading your post Cougar? 😂

I’m going to need some assistance on the acronym here. Google is throwing up “accidental death and dismemberment” or “Advanced Dungeons & Dragons”

I would give £17.38 girl the benefit of the doubt as it’s the end of Jan.
The £30 for the pair people are worse in my eyes.

In my opinion it needs to be agreed that either the bill will be split, or people will pay for what they had. No messing around, and “guessing” what you want to pay.

My partner spent some time on SW, some of the recipes are good. I would definitely recommend the Pinch of Nom cook books.

But overall I wasn’t a fan of the system, it seemed to be designed more around it being a business (which I know it is). But the rules made progress slow, and kept people around to earn money off.

  • I’m genuinely surprised that this is a question anyone would ask. It’s not specifically a ‘protected characteristic’ (like gender or race) as far as I’m aware, but prospective employers cannot ask questions which may prejudice their decision and that includes lifestyle choices. I’m pretty sure this would be illegal.

I take it as once they’v…[Read more]

  • Taking a 777 as an example, assuming an approach speed of 277 km/h and a distance of 50m between the front cabin and the furthest cheap seats, about 0.65 seconds.

Could it be argued that because the rear wheels touch down first, the people in the back “land” first?

  • The horizontal carboard scratchers get a big thumbs up from me. Our loves them, she sometimes sleeps on it, which is about 2ft from her bed. So get one either way!
What about one of these, not tried them personally but looks like it could help deter them. I can’t imagine they would be needed long term, just enough to put the cats off perhaps.

Morrisons for us, started doing it online as well. Feel it’s the best blend of choice and price.
Worked for Sainsburys for a while, seemed to be the same as Tesco just more expensive..
Used to do the shop at Lidl, but found that the fruit and veg didn’t last as long as elsewhere, so had to do a shop every 5 days, instead of weekly. Also seemed…[Read more]

Makes sense to get rid of it, can’t have more little England tories if people are increasing their experiences in other countries.

We would love a huntaway, but unfortunately we don’t have the time at home for a dog. Our tabby cat makes us happy though.

I can’t see week 1 going well as I’ve got a LOT of cheese left.

I know the feeling, this weekend will be finishing things off time. Get on it properly after the weekend.

  • Went to the Bury St Edmunds Christmas Market this year and last, there was a noticeable shift towards the more generic, but still some good independent stalls. Didn’t feel very festive either.
Also went to one at Waddesdon Manor, now that was much better. Unique stalls and quite a few local to the Cotswolds.

  • Exactly 65 minutes and 34 seconds to go, not that I’m counting

  • Take your pick of the casios I’d say. Plenty of choice on amazon.

  • maybe I’m being a bit dim…how does one get their teeth straightened online?

You pay someone to photoshop all your social media photos.
