IMO, to counter faarange’s cowardly refusal to stand candidates in tory strongholds, Labour need to join with the SNP/LibDem/PC/Green alliance. Labour stand little chance of beating Blohard without TBP splitting the tory vote. Jeremy needs to swallow his pride or else Blohard will return with a majority and force his style of Brexit on us all plus…[Read more]

Mooman, that’s a good review of Canelo v Kov.

I watched it yesterday and I thought Canelo was never overly troubled and stuck to his game plan. A very powerful punching display when Canelo hit Kov to end the fight. Although tainted by previous drug issues, I don’t think anyone can question Canelo’s boxing credentials.

    I’ll take a look at the…[Read more]

  • The seal doesn’t fail; what happens is that moist air is able to enter the gap through the tiny holes in the separator; it’s designed like that to deal with changes in atmospheric pressure. Every time the air pressure increases a few molecules of moisture enter then stay and eventually the moisture level reaches the point where condensation beg…

Yes. It was startling that May lost her votes despite him whipping to support it.
Oh wait thats not quite what happened is it?

May lost her votes because the ERG headbangers voted against their own leader. As did de Pfeffel and Jaxon Rees Mugg at times.

    Molgrips
Then you’ve got the issue that Eddie Jones is an unpleasant man and apparently so are half the England team.

Wow, that’s quite a statement. Would you like to run through each players unpleasantness, so we know exactly what you are inferring?

  • No legal issues that I can see but V8ninety is spot on.

Also consider that your offer whilst generous and lovely, might not reflect the young mans own aspirations and expectations. Would you set a time limit? What if he doesn’t get his promised room? Would your neighbours feel the same way about your guest as you do?

I salute your kindness and…[Read more]

    Absolutely not!

Trouble with the tactical vote page is that it’s based on the last election and there’s been a whole lot of water under the bridge since then as an arch remainer my tactical voting plan even includes the potential to vote for the brexit party ❎

    I get your sentiment.

The biggest threat to the tories will be from TBP. Unless de Pfeffel goes for…[Read more]

If the LD and SNP are playing this straight they are relying on a Labour surge as per 2017 to deliver their stated objective

    Not necessarily.

If the SNP & Lib Dems manage to take No Deal away from Blohard before an election, then the tory vote would be diluted at the GE by the Brexit Party. Furthermore, with No Deal removed from any form of…[Read more]

Come on England (and Wales for tomorrow)

I am as excited as a small boy at Christmas! Just off to the pub to join up with a group of friends, big fat breakfast and then it will be KO.

Good luck to all and here’s hoping George Kruis comes on and scores the winning try…..

Again, which other politician can you remember who could pull in thousands to public campaign events?

The Peoples Vote campaign have hundreds of thousands of politically motivated people attend each march and the chants of “Where’s Jeremy Corbyn” were ever present. Has Jeremy had 100 000’s attend one of his jamboree’s?

And to be fair to the…[Read more]

Curious what aspects of the game you think Wales have the advantage in?

I’ve already stated where I think Wales will do well and what their strengths are.

Player v player I think Wales probably come up a bit short when compared with S.A. but I believe Wales’ players are greater than the sum of its parts. This is evident in their habit of…[Read more]

@ Scotroutes – I fear the BP will do rather well, on the back of a single issue No Deal Brexit Campaign. This will embolden or force de Pfeffel to push his own No Deal or the hardest of Brexits possible.

I’m not sure you understand how rugby works!! Giving both teams big head starts and then winning the qf with a late very lucky try was certainly not doung whats needed. Care to poibt out why the bookies see sa as firm favourites whilst you think they will win? What have the bookies missed?

So you agree that Wales won, although I agree, not by a…[Read more]

So did they need to concede early tries to France? Did they need to do the same v Fiji?.

In those matches Wales needed to win and that is exactly what they did. Unless you can point out where that failed in their objective then you’ll agree. Surely you understand how the World Cup works?

  • piha replied to the topic Rugby World Cup Thread 2019 in the forum Chat Forum 2 weeks ago

Well, Wales really were beaten by France, they were just lucky enough to have more points at the end.

Wales aren’t the only team to win a match after being behind either! Lots to look forward to, I can’t wait!

  • piha replied to the topic Rugby World Cup Thread 2019 in the forum Chat Forum 2 weeks ago

Well there’s a lot wrong with your post but this is just wrong, they conceded a try.

It is expected that if a player has a 10 minute sit down their team loses around 7 points, so not exactly shipping points as I have pointed out. Wales have done exactly what they have needed to do, and in my opinion will continue to do so. They have form.
