Did you hear air entering the fuel filler as you unscrewed it? My Passat, and a mitsubishi I’ve owned, caused a vacuum in the tank when low. The Passat exhibited similar symptoms to your car and the Mitsubishi just would not startPosted 2 weeks ago | Go to post

Not sure where you are in Scotland, but he rates them for Deeside use.

Issued these for work. Comfy, warm, grippy and steel toe. Go a size up from your normal.

Generally OK, but our executive team seem to think that Team 2i/c, Team Leader (1 pip), Training officer (2 pip) and your run of the mill paramedic (who doesn’t wish to take on ANY responsibility) should all receive the same pay banding. Add in an actual drop in take home pay (c £6000 p.a) should any of the above wish to become Station Managers (3 pip) , and there is no real reward for the massive responsibility taken on.Posted 4 months ago | Go to post
Capt Ahab/Amasa back trail, there’s now a link trail from the carpark.Posted 5 months ago | Go to post
Whole Enchilada (just because it’s such a short window of availability) and I’ve only managed to ride from UPS both trips.
Loads more in and around Moab, ask the lbs staff, they’re great for trail info.
Tyres? Take something tough for rocky trails, but the rock is SUPER grippy.
@P20,go have a chat with your local water fairies, and ask if they can show you the ladder system on the pumps. Simple but very effective.Posted 5 months ago | Go to post

The same reason we still have a leaky roof in our depot, over a newly built office and training suite. The old mezzanine storage, approx one third of the floor space in the building, was recently changed to provide much needed office and training rooms. According to previous occupants, and ourselves over the last 10 years, the roof leaks. Builders informed, but our manager is now the occupant of a newly completed water feature. The standard of the build has been raised with our Estate’s office who signed the build off, with the Fire officer informed about exposed insulation and voids around steelwork.Posted 5 months ago | Go to post
All for the princely sum of £500,000. Another NHS Scotland “Best value” project.
Got the bluey grey and orange ones after an earlier psa on here. Regular sizing and V grippy, so grippy I actually went back to flats on all my bikes.Posted 6 months ago | Go to post
Over the edge Fruita is a brilliant bike shop, friendly, knowledgeable staff, cool merch and next door to a coffee shop for breakfast. 2 breweries in town, one does food, the other will let you order Takeaway in. Hot tomato pizza is ace and also has a bar, or more upmarket the steakhouse owned by cattle farmers rocks.Posted 7 months ago | Go to post
Trail wise just speak to ote staff and they will keep you right. Horsethief bench is a classic, Gunnies, zippity do da, pbs are all good.
Moab is a few hours drive on the interstate, or longer if you take the Canyon into Moab for the views. Amasa back, Capt Ahab, etc etc, watch the heat and take at least 3 litres of water each as there’s little to no water on most trails. Poison spider bike shop will sort uplifts for you.

As Phil_H said. Do not attempt to smash it open, or you may require a Hazmat team from SFRS and full Decontamination from your friendly SORT team.*
Speaking from experience after carrying out decon on 5 of Police Scotland’s finest. Follow up screening of asbestos exposure may also be required.Posted 7 months ago | Go to post

Ooh, unnecessary printing of clinical or department notices….. We all get them emailed to us, but our team leaders insist on printing every single one. Some staff also print them off, despite each one having a nice eco policy footer on the bottom of the email🙄😤😡😠Posted 7 months ago | Go to post
