Skoda don’t do pretty. Try do inoffensive, bland cars that don’t upset people. They’re very good cars (well my vRS was) but exiting they’re not.

So, Haskell’s in the Jungle on I’m a Celebrity. I might just watch it.

    Nah, it’ll still be shit.

He’ll do anything for a bit more fame.

  • I am but I’ve cheated by buying a complete Vitus Sentier VR SRAM SX.

Next up we have the repmobile, they’ve been on the roads since the dawn of company cars, these days the Vectra, Mondeos and Rovers are long gone and they are now almost exclusively in the rep holy triumvirate of 320d, C220d, and A4 TDI.

These knights of industry are going places fast (87mph to be specific). With roughly 170 of Germany’s fin…

Bristol have had a cracking start to the season and that was a very big victory for them.

Tigers appear to have started where they left off last year. Got humped today by London Irish.

Gloucester fans were waving fake £50 at Sarries yesterday not that it did them much good in the end.

Some drivers see big car and think – ‘oh good, big car being driven sensibly on main road so I’ll overtake them as I’m a driving god’.
If I can be arsed I may thing…..wrong decision – as I see them disappear from sight in rear-view mirror.

That makes you as much of a dick as those overtaking you…what does it matter if they do? Providing it’…[Read more]

  • Surely the answer is a framed picture of yourself posing seductively in a pair of bib shorts?

  • The one we went to see was a bit like that. Bumps and scrapes on every single panel, every wheel kerbed. It looked like it was used and abused then traded in. Nothing wrong with the power delivery though. It had a surprising amount of shove.

Wouldn’t buy one like that though.

Lots will be ex-lease cars and probably not all that cared for.

Read the FB post last night which made me blub a bit. As another poster mentioned, I’ve never really thought about it from from someone in his situations point of view. It sounds bloody awful and in some way it’s good that he managed to call time on it rather than suffering longer than needed. Whilst loosing someone is incredibly sad (been the…[Read more]

  • I had a vRS diesel for fours years, so pretty similar to the GTD but bigger.

The engine is fine, it’s plenty brisk enough but in typical VAG diesel fashion it dumps a load of grunt early on and then had nothing. I often wished I’d have got the DSG because the power band was so narrow (and I’m not even a DSG fan preferring the ZF8). Fuel econo…[Read more]

I think at the time most including Scotland fans felt that the way the SRU went about their complaint was far from ideal. However, it was fairly understandable that they were anxious/stressed and it should have been left there. Perhaps in time the SRU would have ‘apologised’ in their own way. However, World Rugby have brought the game into dis…

Whilst I didn’t agree with what Dodson said in the press conference, WR’s stance seems somewhat heavy handed and the demand for a letter of apology just seems ridiculous be very OTT.

I also don’t see why this isn’t being left alone now because it ended up as a none-issue.

Dylan Hartley has retired due to an ongoing knee injury that he couldn’t recover from. That combined with his concussion issues, it doesn’t really come as a surprise.

His discipline was piss poor at club level but was remarkably good for England. He was also a pretty big part of that unbeaten run etc.

Regarding Sarries the point deduction has…[Read more]

  • Just received confirmation that my order has been accepted and processed so just need the guys at CRC to wang it in a box for me and ship it.

  • Congrats on your immense willpower.

Ha ha. It was starting to wane a bit though.

Hoped it’ll be confirmed tomorrow once they process the voucher.

Sarries have been hit big time for their very blatant disregard for the salary cap; 35 point deduction and a £5m fine both of which they’re appealing.

How it has come as a surprise is beyond me; George, Itoje, Billy, Maki, Kruis, Koch, Spencer, Daly, Goode, Williams etc are all dirt cheap….

  • Well they’re suddenly in stock so hopefully my emailed order with my certificate has been accepted for the Vitus. The better fork and tyres won in the end.

  • I quoted that because it’s a bit weird as marketing copy goes.

It’s a bit odd / crap but hopefully I’ll be able to see passed it if them ever come into stock! 😂

  • Yup, it’s all marketing BS.

Hoping that the large ones will arrive soon, I may even be tempted by the 29er version if that arrives first.

  • Looks like the medium Vitus is now in stock…hopefully the large ones will start to filter through now. The 2019 one does get cracking reviews.

Equally, the Crush gets pretty good reviews too particularly the frame.
