  • Anyone else broken the plastic bracket that is screwed to the lamp and successfully sourced a replacement? They are not easy to find it would seem!

Although just found this on SRAM US FAQ’s –
Controller touchpoints are totally customizable to your preferences, allowing you to choose which paddle does what through the AXS™ app. Choose from three functions: Inboard shift. Outboard shift. Dropper. Yes, use one of the touchpoints to control your electronic Reverb AXS™ dropper seatpost.

Ah so the back button is the same actuation as the top rocker?

Anyone know if you can operate AXS dropper from the AXS gear shifter? Would be nice to remove another bit of clutter.

Cheers all. Ended up at Loullabels- very bike friendly. They even had a supply of padlocks and lock rings on the wall. No1 was full even at 11.55.
Adrenalin do an order/take out service from No 1 to the cabin but miniLD wanted to go to a proper cafe! 8 laps with sit down lunch felt about right for a first time on uplift.

Quick question for those in the know. Is there now a cafe at the Inners base, is it OK and will it be open tomorrow? First uplift so don’t want to use time going into town!

You know, living in the flat, congested County of Kent is brilliant. Not.
To me, this is property mountain biking. Good job!

Great post, must do more big hills next year.

Been chatting to DT. He will post tracked etc for $40 which he is pushing or half that for first class, my risk. Bit torn as I usually don’t like to pay for insurance. Is the risk of lost in the post worth $20? Not the legendary customer service they were renowned for. Mind you never needed to contact US before in 15 years of Turner ownership.

Thanks TGO, am currently in e-mail chat with DT himself so will see what he comes up with.

davosaurusrex that would be awesome, lots of play at rocker tips so I think I need the full kit, bushings, inserts and seals. 2014 Burner.

  • LD replied to the topic Turner spares from US in the forum Bike Forum 1 month ago

Cool, will try that. Don’t like asking for discounts generally but in this case….

Anyone ordered anything lately, needing bushings for Burner rocker tip pivots. $50 seems expensive but bearable – the $52ish postage and packing however seems rather OTT. Anyone tried to argue this with them or found a cheaper way to get them? Need the full kit not just bushings.

  • Another bonus I discovered today, after a few very frosty rides in the last couple of days my dropper cable was frozen making it permanently actuated (who knew how annoying that would be). I was glad I didn’t have a cable on my mech! Also reassuring to know that battery performance in the cold is fine. And yeah I know they do axs droppers too.
