Same as every year, a yearly parking permit for QECP

Dont need anything bike wise and the parking permit pays for itself with 6 months

The Marzocchi Bomber CR is based on the Fox van shock (FOX now own Marzocchi) if that helps

  • Roval wheels come with a lifetime warranty which covers defects in materials and workmanship as long as you are the original purchaser

Also if you damage them in the first two years of ownership and the damage is not covered by the warranty they will still fix or replace them for free

Im a LH fan and i agree it was his fault as he was coming from behind, the fact that Lewis admitted it straight away, apologised to Albon on camera and in person and saved the stewards some time on investigating and interviewing both drivers makes me like Lewis even more

  • escrs replied to the topic Thumbless shifting options in the forum Bike Forum 2 days ago

Rather than looking to change shifters why not look into some kind of prosthetic thumb extension, something that would strap to your hand to help with support

Would save you having to change shifters and would help you carry on as normal as possible in every day tasks

  • escrs replied to the topic South Downs Weekend in the forum Bike Forum 3 days ago

The Hampshire Hog is just off the Southdowns, it sits just above QECP and at the bottom of Butser hill and is easily accessible from the A3

With the way the Southdowns gets this time of year id be more inclined to head to Surrey Hills though

  • I’m guessing the person selling it has no interest in boxing it up or having any hassle if the buyer decides they are not happy with it once it arrives hence why they advertised it as collection only

Another option is to put up a post asking a local STW member if they would help out for a fee, obviously it would need to be a well known/trusted…[Read more]

  • Theft from trucks in laybys must be at epidemic levels.

I’ve lost count of the number of trucks I’ve seen parked up, one of the back doors wide open and nothing inside. Terrible.

The driver’s leave a back door open to show there is nothing in there so they don’t get targeted and have damage caused to the trailer

  • Brand X comes in 27.2mm with external routing for £89 in sales

Have one on my Hybrid bike, works perfectly

New ones have a much better lever and the cable routing has the nipple at the top of the post body not at the top of the sanction so there is no outer cable movement when the post is in action and the lever end is held in by a nipple clamp

Ferrari were well off the pace, was it just a bad day or was there more to it?

With the Ferrari extra power rumors and other F1 teams asking the FIA if the following is legal so they could try it themselves

“A controlled leak may allow a small amount of oil to enter the combustion process, and produce a power boost for a short period of…[Read more]

Motor design changes every 2-3 years at the moment, most manufactures are currently on their 2nd motor design (Brose and Bosch) as said before people are repairing 1st gen motors that are out of warranty now so i cant see a shortage anytime in the next 5 years

As for battery packs they are available but…[Read more]

    Mudhugger again!

Ugly as fuck but it does the job very well

Before i used one my seat got covered in crap which i then sat in and the mud, grit, sand then used to wear away the seat of my waterproof shorts

Now after every ride my seat, shorts and back are clean

  • That has got to be bullshit surely??! De-restricting e-bikes is almost always a mechanical process. And even if it is true, no-one other than a fellow e-bike user would know about that and have the app to hand and even fewer of them would think “I know, I’ll play a hilarious practical joke on this random user by removing their speed lim…

  • Tri sport resort has been Wiggle’s outlet for some time now

Word of warning though items bought on eBay via Tri sport resort do not come with any warranty, they state in their terms and conditions on the auction page

4.4 There is no warranty given on any of our items.

I had this confirmed by the person responsible for the listings

  • The story says he was on a Specialized e bike, so no throttle grip, motor will only give 250 watts of power but they can be de restricted using a simple free app and on the early bikes (2016 to 2018)

Specialized didn’t put any bluetooth security on the bike so anyone passing the bike could connect to the bike and remove the speed limit!!
