Appeal launched and now the points appear to be back…

“Ardie Savea’s 58th-minute try ended the longest ever period of a RWC match where New Zealand had failed to score a single point.”

Puts England’s massive performance in to perspective (if it wasn’t already obvious!)

Thank goodness Wales set piece has somewhat come together just in time… but all teams know how to beat Wales. As we always say, Wales just don’t have destructive big ball carriers or a pack to defend the likes of England/ NZ/ SA who *can* make light work of them. Lots to be gained close to rucks and running inside shoulders/ inside runners…[Read more]

I agree. But odd that Jones is invisible in the media too and hasn’t had a single mention in any player interview, opinion piece or anything. Massive effort to pretend nothing happened which has to be for the best for the team but takes quite some doing

    No news on Rob Howley?

Interestingly I don’t think I’ve heard a single mention or name check of Stephen Jones since he flew over either…

It isn’t knocked on (for want of a better word) if it goes forward in the direction of the ball carrier. Forward in the direction of the tackler with the tackler having the last touch is a knock on.

I thought it was forward by a mile when I watched it live and turned off the tv in despair. No idea how Wales got away with that*

Owen Lane heading to Japan. I’d still back Scott Williams but then what do us arm chair fans know

Navidi heading home is a massive loss for Wales. Talk of a back being the replacement. More cover in the centres?

Just need Rolland to tip up someone half his size now 😀

Very hard to see past NZ for the win now.

It would be awesome to see England take them out and realistically they are the only team left capable IMO. SA had a great start against them in the group stages but despite the insane defense, don’t always take their chances as we saw today. Wales will believe they can beat SA but they are two similar…[Read more]

Will the AB’s be this confident against England? Probably 😀

As a neutral watching, that never really looked in doubt for England. They shut down everything Australia tried to do and with a complete absence of a kicking game today just let them self destruct and pile more pressure on themselves. Defense was excellent and they made it look easy in attack, particularly in the first half. Credit where it’s due…[Read more]

I don’t get the Ford being weak in defence thing. He is actually very clever in defence and teams don’t get much out of him and seems to get a bad rep just because he can’t pull quite an angry face as his buddy Owen (who incidentally has shocking defence stats most games!)

Slade is an absolutely fantastic rugby player but it’s a big ask coming back from injury to perform in the knockouts.

Looks like a defense first thought from Jones with Ford to have fun with tired legs if needed. A bold call in the battle of dumb vs dumber :/
