It’s more hilly there but plenty of good riding and uplifts. Pop down the road to Luzern and take on the Bürgenstock. Bikes on trains is very common but get a bike pass as it’s a very officious country.

I’ll be moving to Zug in Switzerland in a few months.
Does anyone have any experience of mountain biking in the area? Are there good trails straight from the doorstep, or do you need to travel a bit? What is the scene like? Is it easy to make riding buddies (I don’t speak German… yet)?
