There’s a chap locally that makes all sorts of stuff from plant pot holders to the full range of garden/indoor furniture, mostly out of recycled wood, eg scaffolding boards. He sent me a photo but it was very posh and I was looking for rustic or shabby chic.
I need some ideas please. Was thinking of shoe racks made from maybe old pallets.
Where we live the cycling, walking and horse riding brigade all seem to get along very well.
There have however been problems with people coming into the area who aren’t locals, who seem to treat the bridleways as though it were a trail centre. So for the first time in 20 years I heard a horse rider complain. He now says he can no longer take his…[Read more]
Harry the spider – tell your lovely friend that sadly Kate Humble is no longer on. But you (whoops) can often see her on other telly programmes.
It’s the wonderful Michaela Strachen now.
I have a friend who really likes Iolo Williams.
Chris Packham was on the radio this morning talking about feeding our garden birds.
Buy the best food you can afford (we always use sunflower hearts grown in UK).
Clean out the feeder often with warm soapy water.
Let feeders dry before refilling. (Don’t over fill if they aren’t getting emptied in a day).
We use RSPB squirrel proof feeders, which…[Read more]

My workroom is tucked away on our large attic.
Hubby doesn’t bother me as he’s at the office. However some relatives have been known to phone, thinking I can drop everything and go round. With deadlines its not possible.
Bunnyhop replied to the topic Can you please ask your other half if they would like to . . . . . . in the forum Chat Forum Bunnyhop2 weeks agoBunnyhop
My other half likes his craft artisan ales/beers.

Wow, what a difficult position to find yourself in.
Unfortunately there are parents out there who really can’t see or won’t see the truth. No amount of talking cajoling or anything for that matter can get through to that parent.
All I can say is you’ve kept your head where many others haven’t and you should be proud of yourself.
Maybe seek some…[Read more]
