  • That ‘woah’ shout and nervous laugh when you riding buddy has a near miss, but you know they’re okay.

The simple warning shouts used in a fast moving road group to keep everyone safe. Everyone relying on one another for group safety.

  • As a recentish (in the last 18 months) roadie, I can appreciate how awkward it can feel to begin with on a road bike. It took me several months of road riding for the neck/shoulder pain to go away. And that was with a lot of spacers under my stem!

18 months on my flexibility has massively improved (as has my fitness!) and my stem is about 4cm…[Read more]

  • I’ve got the Moon Meteor Storm Pro on my road bike. I run it upside-down underneath a Wahoo mount. On my 2nd winter with it (used twice weekly), and its been really good. Typically run it on 3/5 power and thats bright enough for most situations. The remote cable is great.

Tiny packable windproof – Emergency layer, gets carried on pretty much every ride, all year
Castelli Perfetto – Go-to garment from November until April. Pretty much every…[Read more]

  • Nothing to add apart from I find setting up my r8000 front mech similarly frustrating…

I have to dig out the user manual every time I change the cable.

  • I’ve put 5000 miles on my 2 Cannondale road bikes over the last couple of years. Not had a creak from either!
The Synapse gets ridden all through the winter, and used to commute on a couple of days a week. Both bikes still on the original BB.
