What deadlydarcy just said ^
I had my first experience of working for a fancy pants London design house earlier this year, for the very bluest of blue chip companies.
In chatting to the manager of the hotel where the work was happening when I went for a look, the figures getting bandied about were utterly ludicrous.
I stuck in a price which was…[Read more]

I’m a week or so into ownership of a Oneplus 7t Pro. IT’s fantastic.
I really missed my Oneplus 3t after moving to Google Pixel 3 a while back. I decided to get back into the Oneplus phone and it makes the Pixel feel pretty low rent tbh.
It’s superfast, great battery, 90hz display is well nice.
Out of interest, I looked at the price for an…[Read more]
Another grinder convert here. Fresh ground beans on an old stovetop Bialetti.
I use an Aergrind which I picked up half price as a trade show demo one. I reckon it makes more difference to the brew than anything. I’m not too fussed on the bean, I haven’t tried anything terrible tbh.

You need to get involved in pyriamid selling of makeup / insurance / meal replacement shakes.
You’ll want to be at the top of the pyriamid though.

I’ve never really had clients ‘kicking off’ to worry about, but it’s the daily juggle which can be hard to deal with.
There’s some good and bad advice above. Not giving a **** isn’t really an option in this scenario because –

Parkray aspect 4 is my current favourite. Tremendous bit of kit.
Their names are a bit odd. The Aspect 4 is what you get if you need a 5kw stove.
The Aspect 5 is more like 7kw.
Make sure you remove the wee bolts underneath for the Defra thingy. It’ll burn way too fast otherwise.
Anything Aga would be way down the list of…[Read more]
