I thought that the word intentional might cover 2 things.
The first is cheeky camping. If you found under a tarp in Wiltshire having a brew it might be hard to argue this was you emergency kit and you didn’t mean to be there.
Secondly riding established but cheeky trail. Harder to argue that you thought you were on bridle way of your miles…[Read more]

From the Tory manifesto
“We will tackle unauthorised
traveller camps. We will give the
police new powers to arrest and
seize the property and vehicles of
trespassers who set up unauthorised
encampments, in order to protect our
communities. We will make intentional
trespass a criminal offence, and we
will also give councils greater powers…[Read more]
Surly the numbers on the article maje no sense at all.
They did a survey and found a group of people spending £6000 a year on holidays. No guarantee they are a representative sample. But it’s clear that’s £6000 per holiday four s family
But then they compare this to a national income for a person. Surly lots of holidays are funded by 2 or more i…[Read more]

My memory is that they do 2 a road one and an MTB one as the levers pull differently
I can’t really believe that what stops using listening to music is the problem of selecting a song on your phone. Unless connecting the phone is a pain. I now use a 3.5mm for ease and reliability
Also i would not normally select a play list without having a quick browse first
Your mileage may vary
I’m sure with any equipment I own Spotify is as good as I need or can detect at 320kb/s.
I’d be amazed if anyone could tell it from a cd in a moving vehicle
Spotify may not have best model but they were able to get a good deal as they effectively replaced the bit torrents. They didn’t really replace cd sales.

ampthill replied to the topic A Shim 10 spd MTB cassette work ok with Shim 10 spd road mech? in the forum Bike Forum 3 weeks ago
Ok folks this gets confusing.
Old 10 speed use to work with a 9 speed mtb rear mech. I think when 105 was 10 speed this was true.
Tiagra 5700 is the same pull ratio as Shimano 11 speed so doesn’t work with 9 speed mtb. I think prior to this Tiagra had the gear cables coming out of the side of the shifter not under the bar tape like the newer…[Read more]
I’d consider synthetic depending on use

I seem to remember that they said that they wouldn’t sell anything until they had confidence that they could meet demand and expectations.
Given that they are doing something for the first time I think they are correct to be patient. Although I shudder to think what they’ve spent with no income this year. Or do you think Endura covered the cost…[Read more]
People still will start paying this for a van when there are zero emissions zones in city centres. The price will then be passed onto whoever is using the services that the van owner provides.
But Shane isn’t a witness as in a bystander who saw some one run out of a building. He is at the verge of the case. The defence is that Sutton asked the drugs to be offered for himself. Surely true or not the defence have the right to make the claim.
Their are elements of gravel that are fad. Riding off road with a bike that makes it harder than if you’d ridden your mountain bike. But very similar to if you’d ridden a 1990s one. I’m thinking 650b 2.1 tyres
Bikes with space for 30-40mm (ish) tyres so you can ride a wider range of surfaces. This takes us back to the norm for most of the history…[Read more]

I’ve given up thinking of it a cheap and cheerful and wishing I had better. It’s all been great
My wife walls dogs for a living. She buys loads of their stuff. The cheap walking boots last like 4 times longer, but cost less, than the ones she had before
