Met the wife for lunch. She was buying Christmas wrapping paper. I snuck in some proper scotch sellotape, no more of the cheap stuff which splits, stretches and has no end.

Just changed my passat at 8 yes and 150k miles but only because I get a car allowance and those are the company rules. Otherwise it’s been faultless and was still great to drive. And so practical. And upto 60mpg!!

A bin bag to keep the dew off your kit and out of your boots overnight. Weighs nothing, takes no space, is reusable.
Theres a really good community in fat biking. I’ve met up with riders all round uk and Europe. Often bump into other fatties out riding or at events, everyone seems super friendly.

I have very flat feet and had a lot of pain after 8 or 10 miles. Then got some salomon boots which have a bit of arch but also good ankle support. Can do 20 plus miles now without too much discomfort.
Also my physio had me doing a lot of core and quad strengthening which helped with pain in my feet and calves on long walks.
