Get Gravel Scavenging in Manchester with Grinduro and Rapha

As part of the countdown to Grinduro Scotland 2018 (entries still available – more details here), the Grinduro team has teamed up with Rapha to give riders a little taste of the Grinduro spirit. A wee dram, if you like.

On 26 May the Rapha Clubhouse Manchester will be taken over: see the bikes of Grinduro, an exhibition of the Grinduro Scotland 2017 photography and best of all… win prizes by taking part in the Gravel Scavenge (try saying that after a dram or three of whisky).

The Gravel Scavenge

Starting from midday, riders can visit the clubhouse to get a map of the checkpoints they need to visit. Choose your own route to get to them all, take a picture of each, and head back to the clubhouse to collect your prize. One lucky rider will take away a free Grinduro Scotland entry and no one will go home empty handed. The scavenge is free, but you do need to sign up, so don’t hang around.

Once the riding is done, whisky tasting will start at 18:00, with Arran Distillery supplying some of their fine 10yr old for everyone to sample. While the whisky is sampled there is an opportunity for Q&A with event organisers Focal Events and sponsor brands Fabric and Giro. Want to know more about the race? The best way to tackle an enduro?
