Wilier, the Italian brand perhaps more associated with road bikes, brings out some gravel ready steel and aluminium for the coming year.
This is the Montegrappa CX – a race ready cross bike in alloy with a carbon fork.
Next up there’s the Jareen. This is the Shimano Sora model in petroleum blue.
There’s also a Shimano 105 model in black and red.
Jareen means small gravel in the local italian dialect spoken where the factory is based.
It’s a good looking bike, but read on…
This is the steel ‘Jaroon’.
‘Jaroon’ is the local dialect word for slightly bigger gravel.
The bike is made using a special internal brazing process, which makes those joins look super clean.
And what is that?! It’s a Jaroon+.
29+ wheels and boost rear. Bring on the bigger gravel.
It might be a bit bonkers, but it’s pretty.
All prices to be confirmed. Wilier bikes are distributed by ATB Sales.
