The fourth running of the White Chalk Hills Ultracross will start at 09:00 on 28 December 2015 in Glynde, East Sussex. This unsanctioned, irreverent and ‘pointless’ (their word) event is neither a race nor a sportive. But there will be some serious riding. While the terrain is mostly off road and quite challenging at points, the event is for cyclocross bikes only…mountain bikes are not welcome. And the organizers and other participants will certainly respect your ‘grit’ if you choose to ride a singlespeed ‘cross rig.
Entry to the event is free, but you will need to send a postcard with your stab at completing the following sentence, “I would like to ride the White Chalk Hills Ultracross because…”
But hurry…you have until 12 December to get your postcard in for entry.
