Now in its fifth year the popular Rapha Super Cross series returns with back-to-back dates in Yorkshire and a thrilling finale right in the heart of London’s Kings Cross.
Opening on Saturday 17th October in the beautiful grounds of Shibden Hall near Halifax, the programme includes racing for all ages and abilities, food, drink, music, an after-party and of course, cowbells.

Weekend highlights include a resurrection of the War of the Roses trophy (where riders from the Lancashire and Yorkshire leagues do battle), the now infamous novice race, skills sessions, a night race under floodlights and the first two rounds of the Elite invitational series. Rumours are that the course will be fast and flowing making for thrilling racing and spectating.
With frites, beer and wood fired pizza on hand, DJs keeping the energy levels high and commentary throughout the races, Super Cross brings a little bit of the continental  ‘cross scene to the UK.
There’s also on site camping (for both vans and tents) and an after-party into the wee hours, so really there’s no excuse for staying overnight for day two.
For those with tired legs and fuzzy heads Sunday promises more of the same, with Shibden’s famous lions presiding over further high octane competition and cyclocross frolics.
Spectator entry is free both days which includes access to the hall for those wanting to mix things up with a cultural fix.
Mid-November sees the Rapha CX carnival pitch its tents in the heart of newly regenerated Kings Cross with a similar programme of quality racing and supporting action bringing cyclocross action to the campus of the arts university Central Saint Martins.
Entries are new open for the Yorkshire rounds via the website at http://pages.rapha.cc/cross/super-cross-uk with more details to follow for the London date.
