Retrotec Cycles is known for the beautifully swooping frame designs on its mountain, road and cyclocross bikes. Based in Napa, California, Curtis Inglis, owns the brand and does all the welding and building. He’s also known for his other bicycle brand, Inglis Cycles, which feature more traditional-styled frames.
Curtis won ‘Best Cyclocross’ bike for his Retrotec cyclocross bike at the 2014 North American Handmade Bicycle show. Always having been an active fan and participant in ‘cross, he recently posted some photos of his triple head-tubed cyclocross bike. Curtis is a tall guy, which is evidenced in the tall head tube on this bike. Such a tall head tube allows enough space for those three swoopy top tubes.
