Named after the desert cactus that sidelined me on the 24 Hours of Pueblo course, Kenda’s new 700 x 33 cyclocross/gravel tyre was, indeed, inspired by the prickly plant found in the American southwest. The Cholla Pro digs into and grips the earth thanks to its ‘hook-and-barb’ tread pattern which consists of blocky knobs and an open path in between to help cast off mud and debris. KSCT casing means the tyre is tubeless ready and higher volume 33c casing lets you run super low pressures. Two different rubber compound options are available.
