Sea Otter 2015: Clement Releases New Hybrid Tread Tyre

by 0

The classic tyre company, Clement has been revitalised in recent years and there’s been a big output of fresh rubber under its US office direction.
Joining tyres like the popular (Portland-inspired) PDX tread is the new X’Plor USH (who makes up these names?) which we reckon is going to be well worth a look as being the new, hot Three Peaks tyre. Featuring a slick centre-section but with a hefty diamond patterned shoulder on a Three Peaks-legal, 35mm casing (although Clements come up big, so they offer a good amount of cushion for the size)

Great tyre, odd name

Smooth for the roads, knobbly enough for off-road.

And then while we’re here, how about something for those long, road miles? The Strada LGG is now available is in 32mm with a decent file tread to it.
