Cotic Escapade 105/hydro

by 0

Affordable hydraulic disc-braked ‘cross builds are becoming a reality now that Shimano has extended its hydraulic STi lever technology to the mid-range 105 groupset.
Sheffield-based brand Cotic has just released details of its 105 Escapade, with full 5800 series groupset, RS685 STis and R785 calipers, which comes in at £1,600. As Cotic says, 105 is the groupset the Escapade has been waiting for – it’s a versatile and hugely fun bike, that’s as good off-road as it is on, and we reckon that hydraulic brakes will make it even better.

It might be mid range but it doesn’t half look spendy…
