Niner Unveils RLT Steel Adventure Bike

“Choose Adventure. Choose The Road Less Travelled”

In this rather Trainspotting-esque manner, the press-release for the new steel Niner RLT begins. It’s a subtle evolution of their aluminium RLT, but with a few adventure-style accoutrements to make it more suitable for panniers, racks and all that sort of thing.

It’s made from Reynolds 853 tubing, and it’s got a 142×12 thru-axle rear dropout (although oddly the front, carbon fork still seems to be QR). You can run a double or a triple. Or with a bit of fettling and an eccentric, you could run it single speed.

Geometry-wise, it sports a slightly relaxed head angle, lower BB and longer chain stays for all-day comfort. Plus it looks lovely.

The frame is £1499; complete bikes start at £2,399.
