Curtis Inglis is the modern master of frames reminiscent of American cruisers and curves out of the 1950s, and a perennial favorite at NAHBS. Headtube to dropout, your eye can’t help but follow back and forth along that perfect curve. Note the double toptube and thru-axles, along with three bottle bosses for when the going gets thirsty.

Shamrock Cycles – Indianapolis, Indiana
This bicycle was made by Shamrock Cycles builder Tim O’Donnell as a wedding gift to his friend Sarah Prater. 585 individually painted paper airplanes adorn the bike and represent the 585 days between Sarah and Josh Prater meeting at a local cyclocross race and tying the knot. Art and plane concept by Kate Oberreich.

LoveBaum Bicycles – Denver, Colorado
This gravel bike secured LoveBaum Bicycles the Best New Builder award at NAHBS 2015, quite the honor given the quality of bikes across the new builder tables. Besides the incredible paint detail work and combined lugged and brazed construction, note the thru-axle fork, asymmetric seatstays, internal Di2 routing, and customer initials on the back of the seatmast.
