We missed out on last weeks action as our man Balint was away, but we’re back. This weeks instalment has action from the B-Post Trophy in Essen and the World Cup round the following day at Namur

The young U23 rider on the photo is Andri Frischknecht, the son of the legendary Thomas Frischknecht. He finished only at 14th place, but he is one of the younger U23 riders, he has got time to catch up with the best of the category.

With two laps to go, an irate Mathieu van der Poel tossed his bike on the ground before he ran for the clean bike. After two crashes, he stood no chance to beat Wout van Aert.

Katie Compton wasn't feeling phenomenally, so she was happy with finishing third - it kept her in contention for the overall win.

Not the best day for Jeremy Powers, he prefers fast and punchy courses. However, with all the running training during the summer, he at least managed to limit the damage at races that are heavy on the running side.
