Unlike a more standard fixed position ‘turbo’ trainer, the Kurt Kinetic Rock and Roll pivots beneath the rear wheel. The idea is that it feels more life like, and engages your core muscles adding an extra element to your training. Were looking forward (well, sort of) to seeing how engaging the out of saddle experience is, and how much more real world the whole Rock and Roll lifestyle becomes.
At £464.99 rrp / $579.99 (offers can be had easily with some google help – and other search engines are available), its a serious investment, and given its scale, heft and intricacies, race day warm up use could be reserved for those with plenty of space available in their transport. We’ll be getting busy in the shed over the cooling months ahead to see just how she rolls.
