My daughter has just dug out an old disc with Zoombinis on – the animated Maths challenge programme.

Unfortunately it’s not compatible with our Windows 7 PC.

Does any one know if a more modern version is available (our discs are 2001) or whether any one else offers a similar sort of fun/educational package?

    Thanks!

If you want to use the discs – and have tried whatever compatibility modes W7 offers – then set up a virtual machine on your PC (virtualbox is free) and install windows 95/XP (whatever the game needs to work).

Er, okay. How do I check the compatibility modes? Sorry 😕

    Cheers. I’ll give that a go …
