Front shock absorber is leaking no end – MOST failure. BMW charge £650 for a new one since it has the “M sport adaptive suspension”.

Question – Does anyone refurbish these or is it not worthwhile?

Secondly, would an aftermarket Bikstein be a better choice? Even if i lost the “adaptive” function?

See if you can find a scrappy that has one?

If you were to fit a after market bilstein or what ever you’d need to change all 4 shocks to avoid some wierd handling.
