Just want to know if I can use my old Hope Mini lever’s 6mm hose fittings on new Hope braided hose ?

I know all about fitting braided hose with newer 5mm parts, i.e. take plastic sheath back, use 5mm olive, connector, shroud etc…I’ve done that on my V2s.

But what stops me fitting an old 6mm olive *on top* of the plastic sheath on braided hose, just like I do with old 6mm black hose ?

please ? someone must know – I’ve gone and dismantled the 6mm hose, so sort of need to fix this now 🙁

Yes you can do this, it’s exactly what Hope used to do back in the days when their braided hoses used to get easily pulled off the fittings, leaving you brakeless and miles from home.
