But why the hell does it have a convex section of the lid so it gathers a big puddle all the time, and why the hell have they designed the rest of the lid in such a way that when you open it, said puddle is channelled into the bin itself. Numpties.

It could be worse, you could live in a densely populated city like Southampton and have a huge list of things that are now recyclable… But the city doesn’t have the facilities to process them, so you could be fined for putting something technically recyclable in the recycle bin!

Just drill a small hole at the middle of the divot, and another in the base if needed for drainage.

Nobody . . . and I mean nobody . . . makes special wheelie bin umbrellas. Just think about it.

This time next year you could be a multi-millionaire. You can have that one for free.

Alternatively, if you want a risk free tried and tested method to make money simply open a “recycling centre”, get paid to fill it up with people’s rubbish and then burn the place down and claim on your insurance.

    Repeat as necessary.

It’s got concave lid so your tools and Bike parts don’t roll of the top.

the concave profile helps the wind to catch it and deposit it on your neighbour’s car

Or you could do what someone around here did.

    Rent huge warehouse space

    Open a recycling business

Convince Council to use your company

Get a contract worth around £20 million

    Fill Warehouse with recycling

    Disappear abroad with the money
