    Are xtr M970 cranksets compatable with xtr M980 chainrings (or any shimano rings for that matter)

    And could I run an m970 as a double using 38/26 rings?

    They are not compatible with M980 rings, I’ve seen M970 set up as a double but using non Shimano rings.
