    apart from the Saint’s gold colour and longer threads…

    Are the bearings inside any stronger on the Saint?

    I’m asking because I like to have a spare ready, and Rose Bikes still looks really cheap. And I quite like the gold colour… but perhaps want to justify the extra dosh for the Saint ones…

    I’m going to have a punt and say the bearings are probably the same. I think SLX / XT / Saint are all the same BB

    Saint have longer threads, which you already noticed, but are otherwise the same as XT.
