I have an old but still decent Goretex jacket that needs a repair involving gluing two sides together. I’m wondering if wundaweb would be ok, haven’t seen an obvious equivalent for tech materials. Anyone ever done similar?

It’s just for the elastic cord at the bottom so maintaining 100% waterproofing isn’t essential.

GoreTex repair tape / seam-sealing tape on Amazon etc – iron on like poo to a blanket – good for repairing bike kit too

I have had good results from seam sealing tape, my Altura Night vision Evo jacket form 2010 got a small 1cm tear in the arm from a passing bit of shrubbery not long after getting it.

Used some of the above tape and still there and you can hardly see it.

It was from Pro fabrics if I remember was the three layer tape.
