- WTD: screw in canti studs
Like the one in the picture, but without the shoulder between the spanner flats and the threads (arrowed) – that’s off a Marin which has a recess the shoulder fits into, but the bosses I want to fit studs to don’t have a recess like that, so these fit too far out. The threads are M10x1.25, which I presume is standard.
I can’t be the only person with some of these in their bits bin…
Posted 4 years agoJust checked the ones I have – same as yours, sorry..
Posted 4 years agoThanks for checking. I found another one (no idea where that came from) which also has the shoulder, so it may be a standard feature – in which case I’d be interested if anybody has one with a shoulder which is significantly narrower than mine.
Posted 4 years agoI’ve got these studs which came on a Kinesis frame.
The shoulder is 3mm deep and I’m 99.9% sure they’re M10’s.
Cheers,
Andy

That’s much the same as what I have and appears to be standard, though thanks for the offer (I did think it might be narrower until I measured).
