    But with the following mods:
    Goldtec rear track hub
    Gerbhardt 48T 1/8″ Track chainring
EAI polished stainless steel 1/8″ 17T cog
KMC INOX S10 1/8″ stainless steel chain
    Surly chaintug
    Specialized bars and stem
Selle Italia Nitrox saddle (little bit knackered, so optional
    Brand new FSA bottom bracket
Brand New Shimano R650 brake calipers and pads
    200-mile old 700X28 Continental Ultra-Sport tyres
Black scotchlite stickers on frame and forks.
I do also have the original unused pedals with clips and straps.

Great commuter, but I no longer needed as a I need a geared commuter so I can carry a childseat on it.
Drivetrain is bombproof. Simple as that.
Weighs about 20.5 lbs as built.
Tiny patches of rust around the dropouts and mudguard eyelets. Also the paint at the bottom of the downtube (below the protection of the front mudguard) feels a little rough

That looks like a lovely bike but more money than I can spend!

I’m really after uber cheap i.e. under £100 or so!

How about a vintage Marin San Rafael?
    Double butted cromoly 19″ frame.
Brakes and cables recently replaced, racks, mudguards, cane creek ergo control bar ends, unflashy bike that doesn’t draw attention to itself and won’t get knicked.

    Pics on request.

    Perfect commuter/light tourer.

    £100 plus postage.

Pics please, the Marin sounds interesting!
