    I’m not sure of length etc, but they have to be the firm ones. I have some mediums i could swap PX etc:

    Long shot, but it might just work……..

    IIRC the last year they did Z1 Lights was 2006.

    Z1 lights have an air spring for setting preload in one leg and a spring for boingyness in the other and don’t require a stronger spring

    Hey Ken… thanks for that. BUT, the air-preload makes the fork a bit notchy, and is leaking air slowly. So, a better fix is to find a firmer spring.
    Its an old (but good) fork, so thought it might be a challenge to find one.
    I need to check, but it might be the same as a Z1 freeride fork spring. so one of those might do too!

    Windwave didn’t seem to able to ‘help’ much when i phoned them

    Ta anyway.
