WTD: Frame Swap – Mojo HD140 for Liteville 301 (140) or Turner 5-Spot (1.5 HT)
Hi, as above really…frame is a large and in good condition. The only reason I want to swap is because I need a frame with more space within the front triangle (for a custom framebag). Frame size would have to be no larger than 19″ as I know some larges are more like 20″.
I would also consider a similar frame that meets the same criteria. That means it would need to be/have: a premium brand, large, 140/150 travel, a tapered headtube and space for a framebag.

I also have a complete Litespeed titanium hardtail that I could swap instead. I’d possibly want some money as well as the frame for that though…it has CK wheels/headset, full 970 Xtr except chainset, nearly new Rock Shox Reba, Thomson, etc. Size is M/L – Medium seat-tube with large toptube. Any areas where those bags touch have been taped up so there are no rub marks.

Haha! It’s not so much that John, like I say, I need something that can take a half decent-sized frame bag and the Liteville’s design would lend itself well to that. I need a bike I can go bikepacking with but can’t bear to be without a bike that I can have fun on the downs with. I wouldn’t have been so bothered about bikepacking but have now incorparated it into some of my uni modules…I need to get as much gear on the bike as I can because I’ll be carrying my camera gear on my body! 😀Posted 5 years ago
I need to get rid one of my bikes to free up some money for uni stuff…even if I was working part-time it would take forever to save up a couple of grand.
Talent? You must have me confused with someone else! I’ll be out soon enough I hope, just pootling along though and stopping to take pics. 😐
EDIT: Gone off the idea of a 5-Spot though, realised how small the front-triangles are even on the larger frames.Posted 5 years ago

Thanks for the return email………..another one to avoid dealing with
Really? In your own words “In case you don’t get a buyer or have a change of heart”, in response to the email I’d previously sent you! Do you really think I’m going to swap a relatively new frame, that I paid over 2k for, for yours that you couldn’t get shot of for £700 odd quid? I know you offered me an extra couple of hundred but non the less. 😕
I could say a lot more but I’m not going down that road.
Every person I’ve ever dealt with on here or on eBay will have nothing but good things to say about me. Again, I could go into more detail but don’t see the point.Posted 5 years ago
Actually I did have offers over £700 for the frame with a poorer shock as you know from your mail.Posted 5 years ago
When you consider that andreyeE is selling his for £1k with two shocks and both sets of chips, you’ll realise that I wasn’t tempted by the sell price of £1200.
FFS, you yourself put a wanted swap ad in for a large 5 spot frame which is exactly what I have! Then you imply that it was cheeky to offer!
And a polite reply to an email is just good manners.
I really didn’t want to get into sending posts back and forth like this. We never even discussed any finer details of what would have been included if a deal was to be done, the headset and BB would have been left fitted (CK). The condition is also excellent. Yours sounds like it’s had a hard life with stickers being replaced and multiple shocks fitted. I surprised you’re even interested in another DW link frame to be honest as it sounds like that is what you’ve been trying to combat in the past.Posted 5 years ago
I’ll agree I may have posted this ad without doing enough research first but I only decided a Spot wasn’t for me late last night. It was 0.45am when I sent my last post, even if I had have sent you another email it wouldn’t have been at that time.
Good manners too? Telling folk not to deal me after all the gear I have sold on here without a problem certainly is not.
Look, I didn’t want any kind of squabble either. I replied to a wanted/swap ad. You changed your mind. No problems. All I wanted was a reply.Posted 5 years ago
I shall thank you not to insinuate that my turner has has a hard life. It hasn’t. I’m an enthusiast the same as you, and like to try different things. The turner looked awesome without stickers. I’d never tried a coil shock before. It’s 18 months old and wasn’t ridden for 6 of those. I’d built it pretty burly originally, and it was ace with the coil, 36s, SXs etc. now it’s a bike I lend to friends and built up more “trail” as I also have a LTc. So an air shock suits a variety of riders at different weights.
I haven’t advised anyone not to deal with you. I was saying that I wouldn’t due to poor communications.
You do sell an awful lot of kit though, both on here and ebay. Multiple forks, tyres, bikes, since February.
No hard feelings here, as I said in my email; i wish you the best of luck with the sale.
