- WTD: Cheap BMX
A new BMX track has opened up down the road so I fancy giving it a try. looking for a cheap BMX to see if I like it before splashing the cash on something more bling 😀
Not too fussed about paintwork etc, so long as it pedals / rolls / stops and won’t break under a mid 30’s, 6ft 2in fatboy, with limited jumping finesse!Posted 6 years agopoltheballMember
what do you class as “cheap”?
got a friend selling a mongoose chamber 2009 (i think – grey/silver colour with purple wheels) for around £200 if you’re interested.
very nice looking bike, does the job well.
alternatively, he’s also selling an older (but surprisingly well kept) diamondback, i think it’s a joker but i’ll check for you.
that’d be much cheaper, maybe around £60 or so, not including postage.
if you’re interested, email me (poltheball AT hotmail DOT com) and i’ll get you photos and more info.
cheers.Posted 6 years agombydmtMember

[/quote]After crispy has had first shout on everything I’d be interested on anything similar, ideally 24″
I’ve got a mint SE Racing Floval Flyer that I had for my 40th … long story … hardly ever been used but I have no idea what it’s worth?
Mate has carbon Wilier road bike that I would like to fund so seems the BMX will have to go!
It’s a 24″ wheel so might be suitable … just need to find out it’s value. New ones are £360 (rrp £416).Posted 6 years ago
