- WTD: 4 inch full suss frame or full/ partial build
I am looking to build a 4 or 5″ travel full suss XC bike. Not fixed on what it is more looking for a project to build occasional use full suss. With that in mind would consider anything from frame only to complete bike. Middle of the road budget in mind so not a budget build but no exotica either. Please PM me any details/ Ideas thanks.Posted 5 years agonixieSubscriber
I’ve got an older commencal meta 4 frame (way before the cracking problems). Its an 18″, but was fine for me at 6’2″. I’m waiting currently for new bearings to arrive for it so will be for sale with these installed. Has RS sid shock fitted, but will also have a spare platform dampened shock included (I think this needs a service though).
Also have 115mm RS Rebas (which were on this frame), hope pro 2 hubs on dtswiss xr400 rims (again new bearings), easton monkeylight xc carbon bars, X9 rear mech, deore front mech, x7 shifters, XT HT2 cranks and triple rings and hope m4 brakes, 50mm stem.

I know you said no exotica but I have a Titus Switchblade frame for sale – sold to me as 2005 but I’m pretty sure it is the 2003 MBR test bike. On the fly travel adjust from 3.7/4.5/5.7 inch travel.
Slightly dated appearance but rides very, very well. Hand welded in Arizona, anodised blue, very good condition. Only selling as I have got hold of a Liteville 301.
Never seen another but was very popular in the States. Might be rare because the frames were £1,900 in the UK in 2003…
It’s a Medium and suited me at 6′ with 33″ leg. Email me if you want any pics. Looking for £250 delivered.Posted 5 years ago
