Looking for a beginners bike for my Nephew – he’s caught the bug. He’s about 6ft and I reckon a 19″ hardtail would be a good starting point – he lives in Carlisle and I stay in Edinburgh so can collect between and around there.
    He’s on a budget; so what’s out there?!…
    Cheers
    Scott.

I have a frame, wheels, tyres, bar, stem, seatpost, seat, clamp, front mech (I think), and headset (I think).

I live in Bowness south lakes, you’re welcome to it all for £40 if you can collect? It’s used obviously but all still works and some parts are pretty new.

I bought a new frame and used the groupset forks and brakes. It’s a trek 6300 from a couple of years ago, brown and white, 19.5″. I could also potentially meet you half wayish in Keswick?

Possibly some old marzocchi mx comps 100mm for a little more if you like?

Complete 19″ Pace RC200? He’ll never own another bike, so think of it saving money over long term! 8)

bearnecessities – that is gorgeous! He wouldn’t get that as I’d keep it and he could have mine!!! How much!?…

Cheers Sas, it is a handsome thing but just too big for me 🙁 . £850 would secure it. Cheers, Rich

I’ve got a complete Ragley Blue Pig V1 L (20″) I’ll be selling shortly (in Glasgow). Got 140mm Pikes on there, SLX drivetrain & brakes, Raceface bar & stem, Superstar wheelset, FSA headset, Thomson seatpost. I’m 6ft4 and it’s a little small for me (always ridden “too small” though, so I’m used to it), ideally suited to around 6ft I reckon. Looking for £700.
