    can write copy for anything;
    can communicate extremely in any number of contexts;
    can deal sensitively with people from all walks of life;
    has high-level management experience in a large organisation;
    has proven ability to research and report accurately on any topic?

    Asking for a friend.

    edited to stop me looking like a knob.

    Hope you manage to find something – we are at effective full employment at the moment. There is lots of work out there; is there anyone you can ask to help work out how best to capitalise on your transferrable skills?

    Asking for a friend; right.
    As an employee which I would define as someone who reports to your friend – possibly a threat but that depends, in part, on how confident your friend is and how well your friend performs in their own role.
    Your friend could act as a mentor.
    Your friend could look for opportunities to damage reputation of employee.
    ‘Liking’ an employee could get your friend into interesting discussions.
    What does your friend mean by ‘like’?
    Can they be trusted to get your friend’s sandwich order right at lunchtime?
    So many questions?
    Is friend male or female? Same Q for employee?
    Does employee know that not all teas should be made with fresh boiled 100C water?

    Sounds good, but might not translate to other fields. Is your “friend” happy to move sectors, to about £20,000 p/a
    less?. I’m a librarian in the Bod, I’m awesome but national average wage elsewhere. Academia huh.
