I use an old SE as my bike phone. So easy to carry compared with the 8 plus.

Yep SE fits very nicely into the radio pouch on the strap of my Camelbak. No way you’d get an 8 plus in there!
Doesn’t look too bad mounted on the bars either. Those bigger phones would look like I’d fitted a spoiler.

Same here. Put our two SEs in for battery replacements (£25 each). Apple broke one and replaced it with a brand new SE. Which was nice.

Similar experience – sent mine off for battery replacement after a immersion event resulted in poor battery life. £25 was cheaper than the local fixer, plus it’s an OEM battery. After it was returned a week later with inactive home button, sent it back again. Notified of a new serial number and IMEI, and a new one turned up the next day.
