Obviously not finished the decoration just yet! Organic – really like what you’ve done there!

Not very inspiring I’m afraid. We intend to tile behind it and build a full hearth at some point. We’ve only just got ours going. really like it though. It’s still a bit warm to have it on to be honest. The heat they kick out once they’re going is incredible. The wife has had it up to 30 degrees in the room.

Eats wood when you have all the vents open although with a more gentle hand a small basket will last an evening.

Mcmoomoo, tell me that you **** some things up, just occasionally?!

Organic, yours is really nice too, but your table is useless for doing coke.

Just needs the edging done, and some paint finishing off but first try out tonight… And it’s all good.

    Excuse the crappy phone pics…

And Eric has already claimed his spot.

MrNutt is that just sat on a wooden table? What’s it made from? Quite fancy making a wood fired oven for baking bread and pizzas but the guide I saw suggested building a plinth for it to sit on.

Dovre Vintage 35; way more expensive than we’d budgeted for but when we actually saw and cheaper stoves at the stove shop it was the only one we both liked and it is used daily.

There’s a face in that pic – a demon with a fiery smile, wearing a space suit. It’s even got a few chips on its shoulder…

Bigblackshed – does those stove fans make much difference? Debating to buy one for ours or not.

It’s certainly noticeable with the doors to all of the rooms open. Doesn’t heat upstairs but it does take the edge off during the day. If you are upstairs for a while you can feel the heat rising up the stairs as you come down. Worth the investment IMO.

Mines a Valliant FWIW. Came “free” with the stove.
