So Annie Last was 8th today, so does that mean she qualified for the olympics?

A great result, but that’s not quite how it works. GBR will be allocated a certain number of places according to GBR UCI ranking on a certain date.

BC will then make their team selection according to these published criteria.

Ah thats not quite what I meant

I assume that if Britain qualify Annie will be selected as she is by far our highest scoring athlete in her discipline. My question was does it mean that Britain are ranked in the top 18 in the World because if we are not then no one will go from Britain. I think we must be as we were 15th before La Bresse
